The 1950’s has always fascinated me; so, when my class was asked to create a decade themed postcard for a social event, naturally, I chose a 1950’s ice cream social. I researched different fonts and color schemes that were used during that time; hence, my decision to use the geometric font Futura and use desaturated greens and pinks as a foundation for my design.
